he communists
know how to manipulate words and concepts to deform reality even
though the genuine definition be contrary to what that reality
is within an open or disguised Marxist-Leninist system.
Unfortunately, there are many people who in good faith can fall
into that ambush resulting from tactics and techniques
psychologically conceived and carried out by those who are
masters of deceit, the communists.
It is a well-known fact that this skill of the communist
leaders includes taking advantage of individuals who are
communists, though not identified as such, or who are not
communists but are part of the legion of “useful fools” or
“traveling companions,” that are skillfully handled by the
Marxist-Leninists to achieve their goals. Among the elements
that the communists have known how to handle, directly or
indirectly, is the Marxist-Leninist tyranny of Fidel Castro that
mobilizes, and still does, all the necessary resources to bring
about events that fulfill a communist goal, even showing that
there is “tolerance” on the part of the tyranny when actually,
more than tolerance, there is a clever organization toward a
purpose. Regarding that tyranny, there was a time when Fidel
Castro was handled, in his youth, by the leaders of
international communism until he became an extraordinarily
important figure passing from directed to director.
The communists have invoked the concept of “peace” many times
throughout the years making many fall into the ambush. Others,
who know the technique, do not fall into the ambush because they
are the ones who set it. Peace is not the simple quietude of
things. Pace implies multiple and supreme values having to do
with freedom and with respect for human dignity: Political
freedom, economic freedom, freedom to carry out what the
conscience dictates to every person who has a sense of
responsibility about what it represents. Where there is an open
or disguised tyranny, there can be no peace, because those
working in that environment do not respond, precisely, to what
peace should be: opportunities to do what one wishes in a
political climate of respect for the opinion that a citizen
expresses in a civilized way. A peace that is imposed or simply
tolerated is not peace. Often the chains make no noise, but they
exist. And as Nicaraguan thinker Santiago Arguello once said:
“Chains can only hold down ankles, never consciences.”
